- A recent credential as CDA or a similar status plus a minimum of a year of experience in a childcare center or the like;
- A Bachelor’s degree holder with a minimum of 12 semester hours or 15 quarter hours in child development, child psychology, or closely related fields, plus a year of experience in a childcare center or the like;
- A Certification awarded by the Montessori teacher training program with a minimum of a year of working experience in a Montessori school, child care center, or the like and not less than 12 semester hours or 15 quarter hours in child development, child psychology, early childhood education, or closely related fields;
General Requirements for the Daycare Staff
Daycare staff should be 14 years old and above, given that each staff member below 16 years old has a written parental consent for employment as a staff member with the employment arrangements conform to the North Dakota Century Code.
